Mr. T's 18,000 mile service ............... DONE!

Well here we go again after only 3 months it’s back to  Keith Dixon Motorcycles with Mr. T  for his 18,000 mile service.

As per usual here are the individual service, parts and running costs broken down so if you're thinking of buying a Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200Z it will give you an idea of the financial implications of ownership. This has no bearing on Yamaha or Keith Dixon Motorcycles in any way and is only intended as a guide to people considering ownership of this amazing motorbike. Please also bear in mind the mileage I cover over short periods of time, not everyone will cover this sort of mileage so quickly!

Please note I have not included any "Farkling" costs in the running costs for the simple reason I have done them through choice not necessity.

Keith was kind enough to loan me a TMax 500cc Scooter for the day to get me back home.

Very Swish and Fantastic Fun!

I was amazed at how well the scooter handled and its ability to cruse at 70 mph without a hint of a wobble, mind at £9,500 I should think so! It was so much fun I did a little pootling around and even took Jeannie out for a bite to eat at The Moorcock.

The scooter has a couple of very flimsy storage compartments at the front and a huge under seat storage area but only has enough space for one full face helmet. It handles really well for a “twist and go” but there is no way I would pay out that sort of money on what is in essence a City Scooter.

One quick push and those covers would snap off!

It's a shame you can only fit one helmet
as the TMax is so comfortable "two up".

Great Fun but at a price!

So Mr. T was all set to enjoy the RBLR1000  at Squires Café and the upcoming ride down to the Horizons Unlimited Meeting at Belper in two weeks’ time.
