RTTW 2011

No words I can find will describe how important, emotional or memorable taking part in the RTTW (Ride to the Wall) is. To the many thousands of bikers who have made the pilgrimage to the National Memorial Arboretum  I would like to say thank you, not with words but with pictures. Here are just a few memories of this years event which I was proud to have shared with some of my closest friends in the Manc Riders.

"A time to think"

"A time to remember"

"They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe."

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them."
